The UK is an internationally recognized pioneer in the development of low-carbon technologies and economies, after the City of London’s Development Agency proposed the establishment of a low-carbon capital to build a green industry belt in the future East London. “London is focusing on building a prosperous, low-carbon economy that will create jobs, demand new skills, and bring more opportunities to London companies and Chinese companies that use London as a springboard for globalization.” London Development Agency project Director Debbie K Jackson said: “The potential of London’s low-carbon market is huge, with an investment of 21 billion pounds. We expect this number to grow from £40 billion to £140 billion in the next few decades.” Efforts to achieve a low carbon economy and improve energy efficiency will create new jobs and market demands for the London economy. Responding to climate change is an important issue that is closely related to the world and the key to maintaining a healthy and healthy social economy. The sustainable development of the global economy will also help us cope with the economic crisis and the global challenges of climate change. The UK is a low-carbon technology. Many of the experiences of the economic forerunners are also worth learning and learning. We look forward to the practical cooperation between China and the UK in the development of low-carbon technologies and the economy, to promote China’s low-carbon development to a new level, and to build a “environmentally friendly, resource-saving” society and realize the economy “good and fast”. “Development makes a positive contribution.
